  36.     The MS-DOS Kermit command CHECK TCP tells whether or not the TCP/IP
  37. stack is built into the program, because we issue MSK with and without that
  38. stack. Thus the CHECK <whatever> command is a test for which features are
  39. complied into a particular issue of the program.

  41.     Referring back to other messages in the thread from Vladimir that try 
  42. to tie PPP driver behavior with the origin of the app TCP/IP stack: the
  43. TCP/IP stack in MSK originated with Erick Engelke at the Univ of Waterloo 
  44. (wattcp). Evolution acted rapidly and the MSK TCP/IP code has been very 
  45. different from wattcp code for many years. Packet Driver material in MSK was
  46. never from wattcp. People can check this by looking at source code for the two.
  47.     Source code for MSK 3.15 will be available shortly (delayed by travel).
